Dahlgren Decontamination
Dahlgren Decontamination solution is a three-component solution that can immediately decontaminate chemical and biological warfare agents as well as personal protective equipment (PPE), sensitive equipment, and critical infrastructure. Dahlgren Decontamination solution has a ten-year shelf life in storage and will be efficacious for at least six hours after being mixed with any available water source. Live-agent testing indicates that the surfactant based decontamination formula with Dalhgren Decontamination solution is capable of 100% neutralization of Fentanyl in less than 2 minutes and 100% neutralization of Carfentanil in 5 minutes with no toxic byproducts observed.
Dahlgren Decon is available in the following volumes: 200 ml, 22 oz, 1 gal, and 5 gal. Other volumes may be requested.

Dahlgren Decontamination solution is a unique oxidizer in which the peracetic acid enhances the micro-emulsion in neutralizing threats. It releases peroxyacetic acid (PAA) immediately upon dissolution with water, which saves at least 10 minutes over bleach and other decontaminates. Additionally, there are no uncontrollable residual hazards during or after the decontamination process. Dwell time for decontamination is shorter than other decontaminates. In fact, Dahlgren Decontamination solution requires one or two passes to accomplish efficacious decontamination.
